After the doctor informed the Chicago Sables manager that Zeber was expected to miss 2 weeks, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the second baseman could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.
Zeber is hitting .318 this year with 1 home run, 52 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 95 hits in 299 at-bats, 13 walks and a .350 on-base percentage. Zeber has played in 63 games. | |
