He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 6-hit shutout with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Ott said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." One of his teammates said it was easy to play behind him today. "It was like he's just playing with the hitters and doing whatever he wanted to do." This year Ott has fanned 177 in 394 innings and collected a 23-18 record with a 1.71 ERA. |
