The Huff League season came to a close with Randy Moss on top with a league-leading .344 batting average. The 24-year-old Cleveland center fielder swung the bat well the entire season. He concluded the year with 209 hits, 36 doubles, 15 triples and 6 home runs with 118 runs scored and 59 RBIs. |
 | Tuesday, September 26th, 2017: Season May Be Over for Muffin Men Heinz
John Heinz of the Muffin Men just might have to call it quits for the season. The 24-year-old Cleveland left fielder received a possible season-ending injury against the Austin Lone Stars recently at The Utility Muffin Research Kitchen. Heinz suffered a fractured hand while making a defensive play. The Muffin Men medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 2-3 weeks.
Heinz is presently batting .269 with 5 home runs, 57 runs scored and 40 RBIs. His OBP is .325. |
 | Sunday, September 24th, 2017: Tracy Pitches Shutout
Fans at Demon Dome witnessed the Demons blank the Muffin Men behind a superb effort by Peter Tracy. The Seibu pitcher allowed 5 hits in recording the shutout.
To date this season, Tracy has a record of 21 wins and 2 losses and a 1.97 ERA. He has appeared in 32 games and struck out 260 in 223.1 innings.
