For a few fleeting hours, general managers, players, and their mouthpieces will conduct a risky game of verbal tug-of-war.
Players, used to settling their scores on the field, could make millions, or find their paychecks slashed summarily. When the decisions are announced tomorrow, general managers will have a much better grasp of their budget in the upcoming free agent market.
One thing is for certain--when the results go public tomorrow, someone in Victory League won't be happy. | |
